„Te
a jelen vagy,
az alma,
nyúlj érte fel
a fádig,
fogd kezedbe, sugárzik,
mint valami csillag,
no, tépd le,
harapj belé és vágj fütyörészve
további útjaidnak”

Pablo Neruda

A szerkezeti változások közül a következőket említeném: új rovatok indulnak.

A fordítást a DeepL végzi, lektori ellenőrzés mellett.

A honlap kiemelten, mintegy „előfeltételként” kezeli a testi- lelki- szellemi egészség (életmód) kérdését.

Welcome

"You are the present,
the apple,
reach up for it
to your tree,
take it in your hand, it radiates,
like a star,
Come on, tear it off
Take a bite and whistle
"and you'll be on your way"
Pablo Neruda

For 7 years now, I have been sharing my thoughts and experiences with my readers in the columns of Sixties.hu, first of all for sexagenarians.

As I delved deeper and deeper into each topic, I realised that most of them are not just for my age group, but can be read by anyone who is receptive to culture, interested in gastronomy, travel, has a hobby and collects experiences to share with their grandchildren. And, perhaps most importantly of all, they look after their health - both physical and mental - so that they can live their 6th and every X in a dynamic and harmonious way.

Now I'm trying to repay the attention with a few user-friendly changes, and I have no secret intention of increasing the number of people interested in my writings.

Let's see what's new!

Among the structural changes, I would mention the following: new columns will be launched. Top 10 articles will contain the articles most visited by readers and those the editor finds most interesting - with continuous updates. Our World - aims to provide a non-political way of thinking about issues that matter to many, in addition to moving articles that did not really fit into a category, we can also include new publications of a similar nature.

And I have left a really unique solution at the end: the magazine is converted to English by pressing an icon in case of the TOP 10 articles, making it suitable for non-Hungarian readers at home and abroad. Translation is done by DeepL with a proofreading of a lector.

I am Judit Kónya. I have spent my active career as a lawyer and university lecturer, but I have always longed to deal with more colourful aspects of life. It has always been my belief that with perseverance and a sense of humour, one can achieve a lighter shade of grey.

The purpose of this website is to serve as a life guide, based on the above motto, for living life joyfully beyond 60 in the spirit of "carpe diem" , loosely translated as "enjoy the day".

Given that my readers are presumably of a similar age, I will write it in the form of a first name, as this may make everyone feel closer to me.

I also take an open interest in life's affairs, realising that many people find it difficult to cope with the extra free time that falls on them and are beginning to feel useless. So the idea came up that it is easier to embark on a change of lifestyle and outlook on life together.

My main aim is to help people over 60, who have retired from regular daily work, not just to live their days routinely, but to live each day as if it were their last. This requires a change in his or her outlook on life.

It is in these 'rest' years that the moment of self-realisation can come. We can then think more calmly about ourselves, about having experiences. We must abandon the feeling of "then and there" and strengthen the power of "now". We must not be content with the day, but must create a sense of usefulness, develop a new daily rhythm that includes, in addition to taking care of the grandchildren and other family-related "obligations", the care and exercise of body and soul, and devote more time to hobbies, social gatherings and making new friends.

Thematic help to keep us on the bright side of life and not on the downward spiral.

I'm passionate about everything I've highlighted in the themes. I will also try to enrich the knowledge with the thoughts of authors who are called to do so. It is up to each of you to choose whose views on a subject you share. The point is to have a menu to choose from. This menu does not seek to be scientifically rigorous, but it tries to dig beneath the surface in a way that does not lose the reader's interest, but does not leave him or her with a set of truths that are repeated over and over again.

As useful reading material, I try to direct the reader to Internet sites where detailed knowledge on a given subject can be found, but as a 'preview', I summarise the knowledge on a particular subject in the form of short articles, for ease of understanding, if only for my own benefit.

If only an occasional insight can enrich our lives, it can make them more fulfilling!

I try to offer programmes that are not over-publicised, are affordable and can be done during the day on weekdays.

The website gives priority to the issue of physical, mental and spiritual health (lifestyle) as a "prerequisite". It places great emphasis on the culinary, cultural and wellness experiences to be had, and, under the heading of nostalgia, it seeks to remember the great beat and rock music personalities of the 1960s and 1970s, mainly from the UK and the US, who are now little talked about in the media but who were an integral part of our young lives.

I believe that openness, interest and physical and mental flexibility make you young.

Let's embark on this change of outlook together!
